The Zutons were supposed to be on XFM tonight sometime between 19:00pm and 21:00pm on Ian Camfield’s Music Response Show, but it’s just been announced that they’ve had to pull out due to them being ill. The session has now been rescheduled to Wednesday 25th February
Meanwhile there’s a review of The Zutons live at Islington Academy (15th Jan) written by Niall Doherty on the XFM website
The Zutons were on top form at the sold-out Manchester Night & Day gig on Sunday… in the sweltering temperatures of Manchester’s hottest venue, and on the eve of the release of their third single Pressure Point, the band played a triumphant set (including an encore of ‘Jump Sturdy’). We may have a few mini-video clips to share on the site over the next week so keep em peeled! We’ll also be adding video from the 4Play documentary the other week, and mp3s from the Radio One Zane Lowe session.
Finally, check out www.libertines.org as they have a video to download of The Zutons playing ‘Remember Me’ from New Brighton last year

Gareth on the Zutons msg board has posted his photos of the Zutons from the Wolverhampton Little Civic (15th Jan)… worth checking out. From Gareth’s photo it looks like the setlist was:
- Zuton Fever
- You Will You Won’t
- Dirty Dancehall
- Havana Gang Brawl
- Keep The Feelin’
- Rumblin’ Ramblin’
- Long Time Comin’
- Pressure Point
- Working On The Railroad
- Zuton Karmuun
- Creeping An’ A Crawlin’
Jump Sturdy (not played)
We’re hoping to get some photos at the Manchester gig this Sunday so check back on Monday for those
According to Gareth the Dogs Die In Hot Cars tour will be a rotating headline between them and the Zutons

The Zutons have just finished their Radio One live session from Maida Vale, on the Zane Lowe Show (presented tonight by Huw Stephens). The band played three songs – Pressure Point, You Will You Wont and a Dr. John cover Jump Sturdy. Inbetween the tracks Dave McCabe was interview by Huw Stephens, and he revealed that the 7" version of the new single Pressure Point will be signed by the band (all 2,000 copies!). Keep your eyes on this site as we should have the tracks and interview available for download shortly
Meanwhile, John Harris posted a link on the official msg board to his collection of Zutons photos from four gigs last year
According to granty, there’s a piece on The Zutons in this week’s NME (in the ‘NME Hotlist’). They describe Pressure Point as "the first truly great single of 2004"
Finally, Amazon.co.uk now have the artwork for the single — you can view the image in our discography section. There’s also details of a free poster offer on the official site
