    • The Zutons’ official site gets a new minisite and free track download

      The official Zutons website has been updated with a new minisite (the full site is apparently coming next year). You can also download an exclusive track ‘Haunts Me’ (plus artwork) free of charge from the new site. Click here to get the new track

      The band are confirmed to support Tim Burgess at the Manchester Academy on Tuesday 25th November, and also as support to The Coral at the York Barbican on the 18th of December and the 20th of December at the Royal Court in Liverpool

      Meanwhile, Amazon.co.uk have posted the release date of Pressure Point on this page as being 12th January 2004

      Finally, this week’s NME features a free CD with ‘Zuton Fever’ on it – track 13 on CD2 (the yellow one!)

      Added today are photos from the Manchester Roadhouse gig from 26th October 2003, photos from the Manchester MDH gig from 13th June 2002 and finally photos from New Brighton, Midsummer Nights Scream from 21st June 2003.

      Also, according to Nikki from Deltasonic, the release date for Pressure Point "has not yet been decided. It will be at some point early in the new year though"

      The Zutons next single to be Pressure Point

      The next single to be released by The Zutons will be Pressure Point, and is rumoured to be released on January 12th. However, in a mailout on October 14th, the Zutons’ PR people stated: "The track is called ‘Pressure Point’ and is released on 1st December on Deltasonic; the album is ready & should follow in the new year, and March doesn’t seem like a bad time at the moment… we will of course let you know as soon as it’s confirmed. oh and it looks like there will be another single before then too"

      Meanwhile, according to Gareth on Granty’s msg board: "NME says it’s out December, but Dave said January to me. He also said there would be an extended version of Zutonkhamuun (like the current live version) as a b side", Keiron on the board added: "he [Dave] said January 12th at the King Tut’s gig". You can currently pre-order the single from Amazon.co.uk

      The band played at the Manchester Roadhouse recently on Sunday 26th October and we managed to get some photos (which will be online this week) and a setlist – which reads:

      According to the Deltasonic website, The Zutons are under new management – namely Tim Vigan and Tony Perrin from the Coalition Group [credit to Granty for the link]

      The Zutons will support The Coral at a concert in Liverpool at the Royal Court on Saturday 20th December

      Finally, the band have been confirmed as Tim Burgess’ support for this Friday’s gig at Shepherds Bush Empire, London and also at the Manchester Academy on 25th November.       Sorry for the lack of updates on the site… we’ve just found out that three new Zutons gigs have been confirmed:

      16.10.2003 The Little Civic Wolverhampton
      20.10.2003 The Metro Club London
      26.10.2003 Roadhouse Manchester (£6.00)

      The Zutons to appear at T In The Park festival 2003

      Here’s some news from the Deltasonic mail-out: "The Zutons will be performing at T In The Park this weekend and you can see them on stage on Saturday the 12th at 1.35pm. They will be playing in the X Tent.

      The band will then return to the studio on Monday, where they are recording tracks for their debut album with producer, Ian Broudie"
